ePortfolio Organizer

The ePortfolio Organizer is a useful tool which can be accessed in Edit mode. It allows you to arrange sections and modules within your ePortfolio, and to copy content between ePortfolios.

Accessing the Organizer

The Organizer can be accessed by navigating to the ePortfolio menu in the upper right-hand corner of your screen and selecting Organize (1) from the menu.

Split Screen Format

Upon entering the Organizer, you will see the split screen format, which you will use to copy content between pages.  The view of your current ePortfolio will move to the left-side of the screen and will zoom out so you can see more of your ePortfolio while arranging your sections and modules.

The right side of the screen is for viewing and interacting with a secondary page, which can either be in the same ePortfolio or in a separate ePortfolio.  By having two pages on screen at the same time, you have the ability to style and arrange them simultaneously, as well as drag and drop content between the two.  Upon first opening the organizer, the right-side of the screen will contain two options: Show Another ePortfolio (1), Show Current ePortfolio (2).

Capabilities of the split-screen interface include:

  • Organizing Sections/Modules on a Single Page
  • Copying a module or section from one ePortfolio to another
  • Copying pages from one ePortfolio to another
  • Duplicating a module or section within an ePortfolio
  • Duplicating a page within an ePortfolio

Organizing Sections/Modules on a Single Page

You can change the order in which your sections and modules appear on a single page by selecting a section and using the Organizer Up or Down buttons(1) to move the section's position.  Modules can be moved up or down from one section to another using the Organizer Up or Down buttons (2), or can be positioned within the section by clicking the Move button (3) and dragging.

Please Note: The Organizer will not allow you to move or copy the header section.
