Digication will provide the unique LTI application information needed to create your Digication integration in your LMS. If you need to obtain this information, contact Digication Support at support@digication.com
Once you have the LTI application information, follow the steps below to configure the integration in your Brightspace environment.
Step 1: Create the external tool
Log into Brightspace as an administrator. Click the Settings icon, and select Manage Extensibility. Select LTI Advantage, then click Register Tool.
Select Standard for the type of registration. Use the information provided by Digication to complete the tool configuration shown here.
- Domain: https://lti.digication.com
- Redirect URLs: https://lti.digication.com/srvs/campus-api/lti/auth-callback
- OpenID Connect Login URL: https://lti.digication.com/srvs/campus-api/lti/login
- Target Link URI: https://lti.digication.com
- Keyset URL: https://lti.digication.com/srvs/campus-api/lti/jwks
Check all three extensions, and check “send institution role”.
Leave the substitution and custom parameters blank.
Click “Register” to save your tool.
Brightspace will provide you with registration details in a popup window. Make sure to copy these details - you will need to send them to Digication to complete your integration configuration.
Step 2. Deploy the tool
Go to your Administration settings gear and select “External Learning Tools.” Then select “New Deployment.”
On the Deploy Tool page, select Digication Kora from the Tool dropdown.
- Under Extensions, Check all three extensions.
- Under Security Settings, check all of the boxes except Anonymous.
- Under Configuration Settings, check “Open as External Resource”
Leave Substitution Parameters and Custom Parameters blank.
Under Add Org Units, select any courses that you’d like to have access to the Digication Kora LTI tool.
Click Create Deployment to save this configuration. Brightspace will provide you with a Deployment Id in a popup window. Make sure to copy these details - you will need to send them to Digication to complete your integration configuration.
Step 3 Create an external learning link
Click on the Deployment that you just created, and scroll down to the bottom of the screen. Click on “View Links.”
Select New Link to create a link that you can add to a course.

- URL: https://lti.digication.com
- Type: Basic Launch
Save and close to save this external link.
Step 4: Share Configurations with Digication
The Digication integrations team will assist you with testing your integration and reviewing and confirming what fields will be mapped in the LTI for Kora integration. We will add and test the course navigation link and add and test the creation of an assessment in your Content area. Please have a course available for testing when you meet with Digication.
