How does Digication work with Shibboleth?

Permissions required: Administrator

For schools that are interested in Single Sign On authentication integration using Shibboleth, we will need the following configuration information:

• EntityID of your IdP 
• Name of attributes to be returned with each login: 
  • A permanently unique identifier 
  • First name 
  • Last name 
  • Username 
  • Email 

If you'd like to auto-provision accounts and assign the faculty role, we'll also need:

• • Attribute that contains faculty role (such as eduPersonScopedAffiliation)
  • Name of faculty role in the previously identified attribute (usually "faculty")

Please ensure that your signing method is SHA256 and that the attributes needed are properly released and named.
