Submitting Assignments from your e-Portfolio

IMPORTANT: Make sure that you have published the content on all the sections and the pages you wish to submit. You instructor will not receive draft content when you submit.

You can submit to an assignment from the assignment within your course or from your e-Portfolio.

For instructions on submitting from your course:

Submitting from an e-Portfolio

Select the e-Portfolio from which you would like to submit your assignment. Click on the “Portfolio Tools” drop-down menu on the top right of the screen and select “Submit”.


Step 1 – choose your Course

You will see a list of courses in which you are enrolled.

Select the course to which you would like to submit your e-Portfolio. Click on the “Next Step” button.

Step 2 – choose your Assignment

Select the assignment for which you are submitting your e-Portfolio and click on the “Next Step” button. NOTE: A description of the assignment will appear to the right of the assignment name. You can refer to this to help you select the correct assignment.



Step 3 – choose the Assignment Step

Select the Assignment Step and click on the “Next Step” button.



Step 4 -  Select the pages you wish to submit.

Select the page or pages in your ePortfolio that you would like to submit. If you would like to submit the entire ePortfolio click on the check box to the left of the ePortfolio name. NOTE: Any page with unpublished content will have a red “DRAFT” tag next to its name. If you do not publish the content before submitting your e-Portfolio, your instructor will not be able to view it.


Step 5 – “Save and submit” or “Save, do not submit”.

If you only need to submit pages from one e-Portfolio: Click on the “Save and submit” button at the upper right of the screen. You will see a message confirming your submission.


If you need to submit pages from more that one e-Portfolio, click Save, do not submit”. Repeat the submission process from your other e-Portfolio.

    If there are 3 assignments in one lesson and you click save and submit on the first part of the lesson, will the subsequent portions be locked out of submission?

    Hi Connie,

    The example here shows an assignment with one Evidence step. It sounds like you are referring to an assignment that has more than one Evidence step. 

    If there is more than one Evidence step, they operate independently - submitting to one Evidence step will not lock you out of the rest of the Evidence steps.
