Managing Your Course Discussion Categories

This help content is only applicable to:
  • administrators or faculty managing a course, community or assessment group.


The content in your course can be assigned to one or more categories. These categories show up on the left menu of the course, allowing you and your students to more easily find content by filtering the view by category.

A common set of categories is listed, but you are welcome to change these. You can change the names of existing categories, delete categories, and add new ones. When you are finished, click the Save button.
