Update: Incorrect Data Display

Dear User Community,

System maintenance and updates that occurred on 11/25/2011 resulted in some incorrect data display for a small number of our users.

A lot of progress has been made over the last 48 hours and we are happy to report that many e-Portfolios have already been completely or partially restored. Most importantly, no one's data has been permanently lost and all the affected e-Portfolios will be restored. We have made it our top priority to correct these issues.

We will continue to be in close contact with the end users that were affected, and will make an additional announcement here when the restoration process is complete.  If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact us.

    A couple of items:

    • I had several users add work to their portfolios just yesterday, 11/30 mid-afternoon, only to have it immediately disappear.  They did not receive any notification that their portfolios were experiencing incorrect data display. Will their data reappear or do they need to reupload it and are users still experiencing data display issues?
    • Was this scheduled maintenance?  As a system admininistrator I was not alerted to this scheduled downtime.  I also was completely unaware of this knowledge base/help desk area.  Is it possible for system admins to be notified in advance of any scheduled downtime?
