September 8: Google Marketplace Apps authentication problems

UPDATE: This issue was resolved by Google.

There has been a global outage with several Google services which had been causing some users at schools using Google authentication to experience intermittent errors when attempting to login to Digication. Since this is an issue which originated at Google, Digication unfortunately has had no control in fixing the problem. We are certain that Google is doing its best to bring the services back to operation. As of this writing, there are unofficial reports claiming that the service is back up.

The problem began at approximately 12pm Eastern time September 8th, and reports on social media indicate that the issues have been resolved as of 1:15pm. We will continue to monitor the situation and let you know if there are any further developments.
