This morning, November 9th, we are aware of an issue that was impacting our users' ability to see newly-created ePortfolios on their home pages when using the standard Dashboard. These ePortfolios were also not appearing in the ePortfolio directory. Additionally, when changing the title/URL of an existing ePortfolio, users were not seeng the thumbnail update on their standard Dashboard, and an error message appeared when trying to click on the out-of-date thumbnail. Those ePortfolios were also not appearing in the ePortfolio directory.
The ePortfolios were being created and updated correctly, but they were not displaying correctly, making them difficult to access.
For schools and users using the New Dashboard feature, only the ePortfolio directory visibility issue was applicable.
Our engineers have been working to determine the cause and restore this functionality. Users may have seen 502 errors intermittently from 11:04AM to 11:10AM Eastern while this work was progressing. We have a temporary fix in place currently, and users may see another brief period of errors or display issues when a final solution is implemented.
