Digication Development Update - 08/29/2024

Dear Digication Community, 

The following feature is a response to a number of users upgrading to Digication Kora Courses this fall. While this is a new feature and changes our user interface, it is only applicable to a small number of users who use Digication in a very specific way. As a result, this feature will be available immediately without a typical 2-week notice.

List Shared Work in the Kora Course Dashboard

We have introduced a new addition to Kora courses to make the transition from Classic to Kora courses easier. For faculty members who prefer students to publish and share their live ePortfolios as opposed to submitting specific versions of their ePortfolios to assignments, there is a new way to support this in Digication Kora that is similar to the way it worked in Digication Classic. In any Kora Courses, once an ePortfolio has been shared and published to a course, it will be listed under the Course dashboard. This allows faculty members to easily view all shared work in one place.

Updated Filtering options in My Works and ePortfolios

The following features are deprecated because they only applied to portfolios created prior to 2016.

We have removed the "My Subscriptions" option from the "My Works" filter for students, and faculty members.

Also, the ePortfolios filter has been updated by removing the "By Course" and "By Tag" filters for students, faculty members, and admins.
