RESOLVED: Digication Errors reported: December 4, 2019

Dear Digication Community,

UPDATE: The display errors and slow page loading issues reported by some users on December 4th have been fully resolved. 

On 12/4/19, at approximately 5:00pm Eastern time, we received a report of issues with system slowness and display errors while loading ePortfolio pages. This incident was resolved on 12/5/19 at 7:54am Eastern.

The user experience during this time period included navigation menus not always displaying in the published view, blank pages loading, and navigation not always working in edit mode. These display issues occurred inconsistently and refreshing/reloading the page corrected the view.

Our engineers determined that the issues were server-related and due to errors occurring during the application of webserver configuration settings which limited their ability to handle requests properly during the incident. To resolve the issue we located the source of errors and updated the configurations for all relevant servers. The nature of the resolution should prevent a reoccurrence in the future.

We are incredibly sorry for the frustration and concern these errors caused our community!
