Updating or deleting your Digication account or contents

If you are interested in making changes or updates to your Digication account information, would like to request assistance with the data stored on our platform that is associated with your account, or would like to request that your Digication account be deleted, the information below will help guide you through the process. 

 

How do I make changes to my Digication account or content?

The process for making changes to your Digication account depends on the status of your subscription plan and the type of change you would like to make. 

If your subscription plan is active and you are able to login to your account, you can make the following changes yourself:

Deleting your ePortfolio(s) - you can delete any of your own ePortfolios by logging into your account and using the “Delete” option in the ePortfolio Menu. You can follow the instructions here to delete your ePortfolio(s):  https://support.digication.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000264332

I can’t login, or I don’t have access to make changes to my Digication account. What should I do next?

If you can’t login or you are unable to make the changes you wish to make after you have logged in, please contact Digication (support@digication.com) for assistance.

How do I request changes if I have an account provided by an organization or educational institution?

If you are not an individual subscriber, your organization may choose to restrict who can edit account information on Digication and you may not be able to edit your own account information. Organizations may have their own unique processes or forms through which users are asked to request updates. Digication may also need to request authorization from your organization to make updates to your account. For that reason, it can be more efficient to request Digication account information updates from your organization’s ePortfolio team or IT help desk. 

If you contact Digication for assistance with making a change to your Digication account, we will first need to verify your identity. Depending on your account, we may need permission from your organization to update your account information. Please help us verify your identity by contacting us from the email address associated with your account, typically a school email address.

I would like to know what information Digication stores about me. How do I access that information?

If you would like to request an inventory of the information that Digication stores for your account, please contact Digication (support@digication.com) for assistance.

How do I make a data request covered by the European Union’s GDPR?

Users who are located in the European Union are covered by the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation. You can learn more about the GDPR here: https://gdpr.eu

If you are located in the European Union and wish to exercise your right to make a GDPR data request, it may be more efficient for you to reach out directly to your organization’s ePortfolio or IT support team, as your organization will need to authorize Digication to process your request.
