- If you would like to make a copy of an ePortfolio, access the ePortfolio menu (1) and select ‘Make A Copy’ (2) from the menu. You can make a copy of any ePortfolio that you have Administrator privileges over.
NOTE: Please be aware that the sharing permissions from the original ePortfolio does not carry over to the copied version. When you copy an ePortfolio, the newly created copy is set to private, visible only to you. This is a default privacy setting to make sure your content remains confidential until you decide to share it. Follow the instructions provided here to modify the privacy settings of your copied ePortfolio.
- On the next screen, you will be able to set a new Title and URL for the ePortfolio copy. By default, the Title and URL will be the same as the original ePortfolio you are copying with the current date appended to the end. If the title is at least 3 characters long and the URL is not currently being used by another ePortfolio, you will see an enabled 'COPY' button.
- Remember, the title must be at least 3 characters long. If the title is too short, a prompt will appear to remind you to lengthen it.
- When you have finalized the Title and URL, click the Copy button (4) to start the copying process.
- When your ePortfolio has finished copying, you will see a message stating that Your ePortfolio was copied successfully. You can then select 'Visit Copied ePortfolio' (5) to view your copied ePortfolio in Edit Mode or you can select 'Go back to editing your ePortfolio' (6) to remain at the current ePortfolio.
NOTE: Making a copy of an ePortfolio will copy the ePortfolio pages from Edit Mode and the Published View.
