Search and Filtering

The search field (3) finds templates by name. Type all or part of a template's title to narrow the list.

Filters (4) narrows the list by column value, and Columns (5) chooses which columns are shown.

The list has five columns:

  • Name is the title of each template. Selecting the title opens a preview of the template and gives access to its settings.
  • Owner is the user who created the template.
  • Featured? shows whether the template is prioritized in the list users see when creating a work.
  • Hidden from Global? shows whether the template has been hidden from your users.
  • Created is the date and time the template was created.

Managing a Template

Each row carries three controls.

Mark featured (6) prioritizes the template in the list users see when creating a work. It is only available for templates that are shared school-wide, publicly, or globally, and is otherwise disabled.

Hide from global (7) hides a Digication template from your users. For organizations that have created their own templates to share with students, this can help eliminate the confusion of excessive template choices.

Remove template (8) removes the template. Removing a template will not delete the original ePortfolio from which the template was created.
