A. The new CSV import feature in Kora allows for a more efficient process of importing data such as user and course information into the platform. New features include:
- A better way to manage alumni status: Kora introduces an improved system for managing alumni status. This enables institutions to easily categorize and track the details of former students.
- Preferred names: With Kora, users have the ability to specify their preferred names, ensuring a more personalized experience.
- Pronouns: Kora includes the option for users to specify their preferred pronouns, allowing for more accurate and respectful communication.
- Metadata management: Kora offers enhanced metadata management capabilities, enabling administrators to efficiently organize and categorize data for easier data management.
- Role/group/admin group management: Kora's role/group/admin group management offers administrators greater control in assigning user roles and permissions, ensuring efficient user management and appropriate access levels.
- Email notifications for provisioning new users: Kora introduces custom email notifications that are managed by administrators. This makes the onboarding process smoother.

- LTI 1.3 will only work for Kora courses: The new LTI integration in Kora is specifically designed to work with Kora courses, ensuring optimized integration and functionality within the platform. This improves the user experience and maximizes the benefits of the LTI integration for Kora users.
- Roster imports: Kora offers the ability to import rosters, allowing administrators to quickly populate user data and course enrollments. While roster importing is available, using CSV imports is recommended for more comprehensive features and flexibility in managing user data.
- Grade transfer to LMS: Kora supports Learning Management System (LMS) integration enabling easy transfer of grades from Kora courses to the LMS grade book.
C. Kora maintains support for Single Sign-On (SSO), allowing users to access the platform with their existing authentication credentials. This ensures a convenient login experience for users, without the need to separately enter their login credentials.
D. Existing LTI integration will continue to function effectively for classic courses. This provides compatibility and continuity for users who are still utilizing the classic version of Digication.
