RESOLVED: Digication Errors April 12, 2019

Dear Digication Community,

Update: This issue has been resolved.  New Digication tasks in the LMS will now open in a separate tab, which will prevent the issues mentioned below.  More information can be found here.

It has come to our attention that users relying on iPads are experiencing issues when accessing Digication through an LMS.  Currently, if you are accessing Digication through an LMS on an iPad, you may find that some content is cut-off at the bottom of the screen.  As a result, you may be prevented from the following tasks:

  • Creating new templates
  • Creating new ePortfolios
  • Adding content to ePortfolios

If you are accessing Digication through an LMS on an iPad, we recommend creating new ePortfolios by going directly into Digication to access course templates. Clicking the course name at the top of the Digication LTI window (underneath Welcome to Digication) will take you directly into your Digication course:


You can then click the ePortfolios tab to locate and use the correct ePortfolio template.

We do not have a workaround for the issues involving template and ePortfolio creation within the LMS frame on iPads at this time, but our developers are currently working on a solution.  

Again, these issues are affecting iPad users only. ePortfolio and template creation within the LMS is working as expected on desktop and laptop computers.

We will continue to update and provide more details on this issue as they become available. We sincerely apologize for the difficulties our community is experiencing as a result of these issues!
