Digication Development Update - 2/28/20

Dear Digication Community,

In keeping with our commitment to providing a two-week notice in advance of any updates to our user interface, we would like to share an upcoming improvement to our ePortfolio submission process.

Beginning on Friday, March 15, users will see a new submission page when submitting their ePortfolio to an assignment. This page will include the following improvements:

  • A detailed view of submission progress
  • A history of your submissions for the ePortfolio being submitted
  • The ability to cancel a submission while it is being processed

Large ePortfolios will automatically be placed in view only mode while the submission is processing, ensuring that at any changes made to the ePortfolio during processing will not affect the submission.

Additionally, we will be removing the Undo Submission button from the submission page.  While not frequently used, this button occasionally causes issues when a user decides to undo a submission after the due date. Instead, users who have submitted in error will be able to click Need to make a change to your assignment? to be taken to the following troubleshooting article: Assignment Submission Troubleshooting.

Other than the changes mentioned above, the assignment submission process is not being altered.  These changes are simply intended to provide the user with more information when submitting an assignment.

If you have any questions regarding these changes, we encourage you to reach out to our team at support@digication.com.

Kind Regards,

Your Friends at Digication
