Digication Development Update - 12/13/19

Dear Digication Community,

In recent months, we announced two upcoming changes, both of which will be implemented on January 1st, 2020: 

• Digication Kora will be enabled for all schools (Announced 9/27/19).
• We will begin referring to “Slides” as “Sections” in the Digication interface (Announced 11/2/19).

This is a reminder that these changes will soon be implemented, and your institution may need to make preparations.

Digication Kora Enabled For All Schools

Digication Kora is the new official style of Digication, which gives additional areas of the platform a look and feel that matches New Digication ePortfolios.  It was made available on a per-system and per-user basis on September 27, 2019. On January 1st, it will automatically become the standard style for all users and schools.

ePortfolio Slides Name Change

On January 1st, 2020, we are changing the name of “Slides” to “Sections” throughout the Digication Interface.  We feel this is a more accurate label, and less likely to be confused with other elements of the Digication interface.  This does not involve any change in functionality, only a change in name. Our Help Desk documentation will be updated to reflect this change at the time of implementation.
